Liquid kieselsol for fining beer, wine or cider. Kieselsol is a silicate suspension that electrostatically binds with, and removes, excess protein. It is suitable for both red and white wines. It is particularly suited to wines with a low tannin content including wines from concentrate, sterile or fresh juice or un-oaked wines. Kieselsol is often used with gelatin to increase effectiveness. It is commonly used in addition to chitosan in a complete clarification program. Use up to one pack for 6 US gallons.
